The NFL’s Detroit Lions were 6-2 when they mocked Tim Tebow’s faith during their victory over him. But since then the Lions have lost 3 out of their 4 games, while Tebow has won all 4 of his. Perhaps mocking faith is not a recipe for success?

My two cents:
With the NFL season over, I note that the Denver Broncos made it to the second round of the playoffs—which was better than the Lions’ effort of being blown out in the first round. After the Detroit Lions’ mockery, Tebow trumped them to win the next six games in a row, and while Lions had more regular season victories overall, that doesn’t count for much if you can’t progress through the playoffs.
Pro football didn’t really strike me as having much of a religious element, but it seems like Tim Tebow is changing that, and I’m glad.
